‘You’re willing to try’: Adam Morrison relives college career-ending moment in AT
Cool to get a behind the scenes look on the AT&T commercial I mentioned earlier from the man himself. Sounds like a neat experience and a fun chance to hang out with some other college basketball greats.
Zags prevail 84-81 in a thriller with TCU that was not quite a close as the final score indicated. Did not love the way they closed out the last 30 seconds.
TCU comes back at the very end of the game to end ASU’s season and will face Gonzaga Sunday.
I didn’t know I needed a commercial that had Adam Morrison singing “One Shining Moment” on a beach with AT&T’s Lily, Greg Oden, Sabrina Ionescu, and a host of other famous college players, but I’m here for it!
Heh, Chet Holmgren is in an AT&T wireless commercial with Lily.
FDU coach bafflingly calls time out with 1.2 seconds left up 5. They hold on for the upset win and GU is now up 62-42 with 10:21 to go.
Switched the game to watch the end of Purdue - FDU. 1 seed Boilermakers trail by 4 with 8.1 seconds left in the game.
Good start to the second half as Gonzaga has jumped out to a 52-42 lead with 15:28 to go in the game. Offense is looking way more fluid.
Frustrating five or six minutes results in the Zags trailing GCU 10-12 now with 12 minutes left in the first half. Hopefully they can get things sorted out soon.
Amazing start for the Zags so far as they’ve forced 4 turnovers out of the gate and jumped out to a 7-0 lead over Grand Canyon!
SMC looks like they’re going to see this one out over VCU. The really impressive thing is that Mahaney has been a complete non-factor in the game because of his foul trouble.
Overcame my usual dread of jinxing the Zags and filled out my first NCAA bracket in ages this year. It helped that I feel kind of ambivalent about the Zags’ chances this year but the real key was picking a fun theme and letting it guide me. I went with “Drew Timme’s Bracket” this year in honor of the soon-to-depart Zag legend and gave all the Texas teams a little more weight in my picks and picked the Zags to go all the way (because of course Drew would, right?).
